Founded in 1982 as The Spector Knapp Partnership and later Spector, Knapp & Baughman Ltd., the firm has earned an international reputation for providing great design and outstanding service while maintaining a high level of technical prowess.
Ranked among the top 20 design firms in the Washington DC region and among the top 100 nationally, SKB has designed more than 12 million square feet of office space for major law firms, corporations, non-profits, and associations. These projects have ranged in size from small and complex to over 1,000,000 square feet supporting firms’ headquarters and administrative offices, data centers, SCIF and network operation centers as well as conference and innovation centers.
